Access and Inclusion Statement

At The Farm Shed we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our guests. Our self-contained accommodation is designed to provide accessibility for individuals of diverse abilities and backgrounds.

The guesthouse is located on a tranquil farm, easily accessible by car. Upon arrival, guests will find a designated parking area, just a short, flat walk (approximately 5 metres) to the guesthouse entrance. The driveway is gravel and there is a tiled patio. The French doors open up into an open plan living area.

Inside, the guesthouse is on a single level with no internal steps. The flooring is a combination of polished concrete and rugs with ample lighting provided in all rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with standard-height countertops and all appliances are easily reachable. The main bedroom features a king size bed with ample space around it for manoeuvring. The second bedroom features 2 standard size single beds with access to each bed from the centre of the room. There is a shared bedside table in this room.

The property is situated on a working farm, and as such, guests are advised to be mindful of potential hazards such as uneven ground, livestock and farm machinery. The guesthouse is separate from the main farm buildings, providing privacy and minimal disturbance from farm activities. While the guesthouse is designed for comfort, it is not fully accessible for individuals with significant mobility impairments. Guests with specific needs are encouraged to contact us prior to booking to discuss whether the accommodation will be suitable.
